Last day of Vernissage
For the first time Annemiek van Brenk and Dennis van der Riet, presented their ideas
in a hugh building ( NUtrecht) in Utrecht in Vernissage De-Mi.
They made their dream come true!
They showed not to be afraid of small and petite flower arrangements.
In fact, it was bold, big and colorful. We love it!
After 5 day's Vernissage De-Mi in Utrecht, we can say: it was a real success!
We're looking foreword to a new edition!

Friendship house rules
At the friendship house at Tokashiki, this was daily routine.
After breakfast, lunch and dinner, we had to put this in the water.
If you're wondering: Chopsticks were put in a different place.
Actually, there were a lot of rules, every day a new one.
This was the most presentable.

At the beach
Very early in the morning, we went to this beautiful beach at Tokashiki.
I was looking for materials to put in my installation, that was going to be presented at the Okinawa prefectural museum.
The best place, to find something special!
Tokashiki beach
Very early in the morning we went to Tokashiki beach, to collect materials for my installation.
We were not allowed to go for a swim, that was a real pity, because the ocean looked great for a "plonsje".

There are two markets, the food department is were we went to.
Many kind of food, lots of smells to take in and very busy.
We didn't try this squid, because we thought it was to beautiful to eat.

Making a sculpture
During this summer, I was making a big sculpture for the exhibition Sculptures II at WAD.
Big Blossom, as she is called, is 2.40 mtr high.
She was made at World Art Delft.
Because of the rain, the work was mainly in the cellar of the pavilion.
She was laying on a lorry, so I could bring her where ever I wanted.
